Micro-blading is a technique that creates very fine lines or strokes to replicate the look for natural real hair. It’s manually applied with different types of micro-blades, the size and thickness of the blade can determine how the hair stroke will look.

If you are a client who fills in their brows with make-up and are interested in a natural look, this is a great technique for you. Microblading is ideal for normal to dry skin types.

  • A timeline of when you will Panic and what to expect:

Day 1:  Leaving the appointment you will LOVE your brows, you won’t be able to stop looking in the mirror at how marvelous the hair strokes look and how “framed” your eyes are!! And you will wonder; have my eyes always been this pretty?  Please be careful while driving.

Day 2:  You will wake up and marvel at the fact that you still have eyebrows on your face.  Late in the day you will try to remember if you are supposed to wash your face or not, but since you were so excited about getting eyebrows you didn’t pay attention to anything I said and you won’t be able to remember my instructions.  Now brace for the panic to set in.

Day 3-7:  Now you aren’t sure, you loved them in the beginning, but they look too dark maybe?  Is this the right shape?  And they are starting to scab and fall off!  They are all patchy looking I want to fill them in with make-up, people will be terrified of me if I go in public, OMG I’M not going to have any brows left!  I’m totally using make-up even though I was told not to.

Day 7 – 14:  All my eyebrows fell off and now I look just like when this process started.  Did I waste my time and my money?  This was dumb.

Day 15 – 28:  Whoa!  I am starting to see the hairs again, that’s so weird.  I can’t wait for my touch up to finish the shape and filling some spots!

TOUCH UP:  They are back to beautiful! This was the smartest thing I’ve ever done; I am a genius.  Now my brows are waterproof and sweat-proof and kid proof and pet proof and I don’t have to guess where to put them when I want to draw them on.

  • 1.    For 1 hour post appointment, blot your brows with a clean tissue to remove plasma. If the oozing dries on the brows, it will create massive scabs and the brows will peel and flake like crazy!

    2.    Within a few hours post appointment, wash your brows with the aftercare foam soap.

    ·      Wash hands

    ·      Get TINY bit of soap and some water OUTSIDE OF SHOWER

    ·      Wash gently in direction of hair.  It’s a light swipe. Just to help remove excess oil, oozing etc.  NO circles or scrubbing

    ·      Pat dry with clean paper towel.

    ·      Apply healing balm

    3.     Wash morning and night for 10 days

    4.    Apply balm morning noon and night for 10 days. You will have enough left over for touchup if you’re using it correctly.  RICE GRAIN amount will cover both brows.  NOT rice grain on each brow.

    5.    No getting them wet other than washing OUTSIDE of shower.  This includes shower.  Sweating sauna. Hot tub. ETC.

    6.    No direct sunlight for 2 weeks.
